traditional and then some

i'm not usually drawn to traditional interiors, although i love to mix classic elements with modern pieces and clean lines just for a twist.  this room caught my eye, mainly for the beautiful wood bed which adds such a rich warmth.  it's a bit british - west indies with the ornate step, the silk throw pillows and i really like the simple form of the brass lamp.
